I’ve got my second project up over at the Helmar blog today getting creative with another one of their fabulous adhesives. This time around I’m highlighting ZapDots: 3D Double-Sided Adhesives that come in different sizes as well as in black, white, and clear. I took one look at the black ZapDots and knew they’d be just perfect for creating shadowboxes!
This shadowbox is in honor of my friend, Lyssa’s, military service. With Veterans Day/Remembrance Day just next week, it’s a quick project you can put together to honor a current or former service member. Click over to see how it came together: Shadow Box of Service
What a neat idea. I’ve scrapbooked on and off for years, but never made any shadowboxes!
Thanks! I’ve always love the look of shadowboxes, paper tole art, anything that’s both 2-D and 3-D at the same time, really. My grandmother had several in her den when I was growing up, I guess that’s where the fascination comes from.
I love shadowboxes, but have yet to make one. Maybe when all of our life is out of storage, I can make a wedding one.
It does kinda help to access to one’s stuff to make a shadowbox! I have plans to do one of our wedding items, as well. But maybe I should actually put together our wedding album first? lol!
