That would be my NaNoWriMo Word count for this morning. I managed to get up well ahead of normal (since I had no luck staying up late last night) and get a good start (well, number-wise at least) to this year’s novel effort (pun heavily intended). Tonight my goal is to get another hour of writing in, double the above number, and then spend the rest of the evening watching ANTM and knitting Christmas presents.
The Halloween party last night was great fun, but I started to burn out rather early.
Events are occurring that are putting me in a not-happy frame of mind and, while I could get into a really good rant, I’m going to hold my tongue even if it means I won’t be able to get it out of my head for a while. Let me just say that karma is a bitch and one of these days everyone will get what they deserve. And I intend to be there to see it, with popcorn.
I was so very glad that you came to the party last night. I adored your outfit (one day I hope to be able to carry off the marvelous stockings/shoes combinations that you can), and it wouldn’t have been the same without you.
