They say three’s a crowd, but I’ve always been fond of the number. So right on the heels of joining my second design team (the awesome Helmar adhesives), I applied for and was accepted to the Love My Fabrics team starting this month!

I’ve been sewing since I was a little girl. Mom taught me to hand-sew back in single digits but I also remember my grandmother sewing dresses for me and do other sort of crafts in her little sewing room off the kitchen. I remember that room being bright with both light and lots of colors of fabrics and paints.

Maybe that’s where I get it from?

I’m still waiting my first shipment of fabrics to arrive but I’m really thrilled to be playing with their fun patterns over the next several months. So you can expect to see sewing projects to show up here more often and there’s nothing wrong with that, right?
